Pork cutlets in the oven
Baked pork cutlets in the oven are juicier than fried ones. In addition, pork does not absorb oil from the pan, relying on its own fat reserves. The cutlets will have a natural meat flavor with moderate spiciness. To cook delicious and juicy pork cutlets in the oven, follow our step-by-step recipe with photos.

Ingredients
- pork – 400 g;
- onion – 2 pcs;
- egg – 1 pc;
- wheat buns – 150 g;
- milk – 120 ml;
- vegetable oil – 15 ml;
- salt – 1 tsp;
- black pepper – 1 tsp;
- sesame seeds – 1.5 tbsp.
Cooking
1. Any unsweetened wheat baked goods soaked in milk are added to the ground pork. Small buns or slices of bread are suitable: thick crusts are cut off, thin ones are left.

2. The buns are broken up and poured into a deep bowl.

3. Large crumbs are soaked in cold milk. The higher the fat content of the milk, the tastier the cutlets. The crumbs will absorb all the milk, and there will be no need to drain it.

4. The pork and onion are cut into pieces, fat and films are removed as much as possible. The onion and pork are turned into minced meat using any appliance, the best helper is a blender.

5. The meat mixture is combined with the crumbs soaked in milk.

6. Ground black pepper and salt are added. Instead of pepper, other dried ground spices with less spiciness can be used.

7. A large egg is beaten in, and a tablespoon of vegetable oil is added. The minced meat is mixed with a fork.

8. Large cutlets are shaped and placed in a baking dish.

9. A little cold water is poured into the dish. The cutlets should be 'submerged' a quarter of their height.

10. For a spicy taste, the cutlets are sprinkled with some seeds. Sesame, flax, and chia seeds can be used. The dish with the cutlets is placed in the oven for one hour at a temperature of 180 degrees. Gradually, the cutlets will absorb all the water, and the tops sprinkled with seeds will brown.

11. Baked pork cutlets in the oven can be served without bread, as it is already present in the filling. Meat cutlets go well with vegetable salads, for example: Greek, Coleslaw, Caprese.
