
Zucchini Jam with Orange
These dense pieces of vegetable, glowing amber, with a surprising, unique taste that has radically changed, absorbing the aroma and juice of the citrus, are preserved in zucchini jam with orange.

Ingredients
- milk zucchini - 750 g;
- oranges - 2 pcs;
- white sugar - 550 g.
Glass jars for sealing must be sterilized, as well as metal lids.
Preparation
1. Prepare the necessary ingredients.

2. If the skin of the zucchini is soft, it doesn't need to be peeled, but if it's dense and tough, it's better to cut it off. Cut the fruit lengthwise and remove the soft part with seeds using a small spoon.

3. Cut the zucchini into rectangular pieces of 1-1.5 cm.

4. Chop the oranges in the same size with their peel - it is very aromatic and will give the jam a special originality.

5. Place all the chopped ingredients into a pot or metal basin for jam.

6. Pour sugar into it.

7. Mix the ingredients and leave in the refrigerator for 8 hours.

8. When this time is up, a pleasant smell will appear, and the zucchini with oranges will release a large amount of juice.

9. Boil the mixture for 2-3 minutes after boiling.

10. Set the pot aside for 8 hours, then boil it again for 2-3 minutes. A small amount of foam may gather - it should be removed.

11. Let the jam steep for another 8 hours, then boil it for the final, 3rd time for another 2-3 minutes. The pieces of zucchini will acquire amber transparency and will resemble candied fruits.

12. Distribute the hot mass into prepared jars.

13. After the lids are securely screwed on, turn the jars upside down. After about an hour, return the jars to their original position, and when they cool down, transfer them to the pantry, where they can be stored for up to a year.
