Fried dumplings with sour cream in a frying pan
A dish as simple as dumplings can be enhanced by making their taste richer and juicier by preparing fried dumplings with sour cream in a frying pan. In this case, frozen products are first fried until golden brown, and then simmered in a creamy sour cream sauce, absorbing its moisture and aroma.
It is worth noting that dumplings can be used both store-bought and homemade, which is much tastier.

Ingredients
- frozen dumplings – 700 g;
- butter – 35 g;
- odorless vegetable oil – 30 ml;
- sour cream – 100 g;
- fresh herbs – a small bunch;
- hot water – 150 ml;
- salt, pepper – to taste.
Preparation
1. Prepare the ingredients. The dumplings must be well frozen; there's no need to take them out in advance. Any herbs will do – parsley, dill, green onion feathers, cilantro.

2. In a frying pan, melt the butter together with the vegetable oil.

3. Place the frozen dumplings – they should be arranged in a single layer.

4. Fry the dumplings over medium heat until they are covered with a golden crispy crust on both sides. This will take about 5 minutes.

5. Add sour cream to the frying pan.

6. Immediately dilute it with water and stir the entire mixture.

7. Add a little salt to the sauce (not too much, as salt was already added to the filling and the dough).

8. Cover the frying pan with a lid and simmer the contents over low heat for 7-10 minutes.

9. In the meantime, chop the herbs, which will then be sprinkled over the dish when served.

10. Fried dumplings with sour cream in a frying pan are ready. The herbs can be served separately and added to the plate if desired. Enjoy your meal!
