Italian Polpette
Instructions
Prepare the chicken mince without onions or garlic.
Beat one egg into the minced chicken thighs, add salt and ground black pepper to taste.
Add ground breadcrumbs and chopped parsley greens. Store-bought breadcrumbs can be replaced with a bun soaked in milk.
Stir in the paprika and grated cheese. It can be any kind, but ideally - Parmesan or Maasdam.
Thoroughly mix the mince and let it stand for a quarter of an hour at room temperature. During this time, the breadcrumbs will swell and the mince will become smooth and uniform.
Form small meatballs with wet hands. The approximate amount of mince for one meatball is one teaspoon. Roll each piece in wheat or rye flour.
Fry the polpette in vegetable oil.
Fry the pieces until they have an appetizing golden crust.
Place the polpette on a serving plate. Complement the meatballs with tomato, mango, or creamy sauce.
