Ingredients
Show ingredients
- rose petals - 100 g;
- citric acid - 1 tsp without a slide (5 g);
- sugar - ½ cup (100 g).
For the syrup:
- water - 1 cup;
- sugar - 500 g.
Preparation
- Cut off the blossomed buds of the tea rose early in the morning. After bringing the flowers home, immediately start preparing them. First, remove the petals from the rose buds. Cut the petals so that their hard white tips remain on the receptacle, which we throw away. Spread the petals on a flat surface for a while to get rid of insects that may be in the flowers. Then rinse the rose petals with clean cool water, leave them in a colander (to drain excess moisture), and shake them several times.
