Apple-Pumpkin Juice for Winter
Thick and rich apple-pumpkin juice for winter can be made from natural products and without the use of preservatives at home. This bright drink will delight with its original taste and remind you of warm autumn days.
You can make apple-pumpkin juice for winter in two ways: using a juicer or without it, blending previously steamed fruits with an immersion blender to a homogeneous state. In the first case, the juice will be clear, without pulp, but the yield of the finished drink will be quite small, while the leftover pulp will be quite substantial. The second option is distinguished by its economy (there are no leftovers at all), simplicity of preparation, and excellent results – thick and rich juice with pulp.
Time to prepare: 1 hour.

Show ingredients
- pumpkin – 2 kg (peeled);
- apples – 500 g (peeled);
- white sugar – 250 g;
- orange juice – from 1.5 oranges;
- lemon juice – from 1/2 lemon;
- purified water – 2 l.
Preparation
- Prepare the ingredients for making apple-pumpkin juice. It should be noted that the amount of ingredients is quite conditional – you can adjust the proportions of apples and pumpkin according to your preference. The amount of sugar also depends on the sweetness of the fruits, and the citrus will give the juice a fresh aroma and make the taste of the pumpkin more refined and attractive.
- While the mixture is coming to a boil, squeeze the juice from the oranges and half a lemon (you can even include the pulp). Sterilize the glass jars using any convenient method, and boil the lids for 5 minutes.
- Pour the boiling juice into hot jars and seal with lids. The specified amount of ingredients yields one two-liter jar and one one-liter jar. Another half-liter is left for tasting.
Natural apple-pumpkin juice for winter can be stored even at room temperature; it will keep well until next autumn. A glass of such a bright drink will not only lift your spirits but also replenish your vitamin intake during the winter period.
