Despite the name with an alcoholic accent, in the finished dish the alcohol is completely evaporated during baking, leaving behind only the rich malty aroma and characteristic beer depth of flavor — so "drunken chicken" can confidently be served to the whole family, including children. Rub chicken thighs thoroughly with a mix of salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic and dried herbs.
