
Broccoli and cauliflower baked in the oven
Broccoli and cauliflower baked in the oven is a very hearty dish, and it will take no more than 15 minutes to prepare the ingredients. The hot casserole is delightful – the crust is crunchy, and the cheesy aroma envelops each floret. To keep the cooled broccoli and cauliflower baked in the oven delicious, they should be arranged on a flat plate and wrapped in plastic wrap.

Ingredients
- cauliflower – 1 small head;
- broccoli – 1 small head;
- eggs – 1 pc;
- sour cream 15-20 % - 4 tbsp;
- cheese – 150 g;
- garlic – 2 cloves;
- salt – to taste;
- herbs de Provence – 1 tsp;
- vegetable oil – 20 ml.
Preparation
1. Any types of cheese, differing in density and sharpness, can be used for the sauce. Preference should be given to fatty varieties.

2. Cut the florets from the head of cauliflower, rinse them under running water.

3. Although the stem of broccoli is considered edible, it is not needed for baking. Cut off the florets and rinse them thoroughly in water.

4. Toss the broccoli and cauliflower into a pot when the salted water boils, cooking for exactly 4 minutes at a strong boil.

5. For one minute, toss the florets in cold water. This is only necessary so that you can arrange the vegetables in the baking dish without burning your fingers.

6. Grease the ceramic dish with oil, paying special attention to the bottom. During baking, the lower part of the florets will soak in the vegetable oil.

7. Arrange the broccoli and cauliflower tightly, aiming for an even height.

8. Mash the cheese with a fork or grate it.

9. Add salt and ground spices.

10. Pass the peeled garlic cloves through a press with fine perforation.

11. Combine the grated cheese with the egg.

12. Add thick sour cream.

13. Mix the cheesy-sour cream sauce.

14. Spoon the sauce onto the florets. To prevent the sauce from running down and to set immediately on the florets, place the cabbage in a hot oven. Temperature - 180 degrees.

15. Remove the dish when the cheese crust on the florets has baked and turned golden. With convection on, this will happen in 15 minutes; without convection – in 20-25 minutes.

16. The broccoli and cauliflower baked in the oven are ready. The cheese crust will unite the scattered florets into a unique casserole. Cut the vegetable casserole into squares, lift them with a narrow spatula, and place them on a plate.

17. A lovely flavor accent – flax seeds, or you can sprinkle the baked florets of the two types of cabbage with cheese.
