
Mushrooms in sour cream sauce
Before serving, you can prepare mushrooms in sour cream sauce in a frying pan in advance. They are delicious both hot and cold. They can be served as a standalone dish or with any side dish. Moreover, these mushrooms are great for stuffing pies or pancakes after cooling down.

Ingredients
- mushrooms – 400 g;
- onion – 1 pc;
- garlic – 1 clove;
- sour cream 30% – 4 tbsp.
- salt and pepper – to taste;
- vegetable oil for frying.
Preparation
1. Prepare the products on the table for making mushrooms in sour cream sauce in a frying pan. Rinse the mushrooms and dry them with a paper towel. Remove the skin from the onion and the garlic clove.

2. Cut the mushrooms into cubes.

3. Dice the onion finely.

4. Chop the garlic clove finely.

5. Heat the frying pan, add vegetable oil, and add the chopped onion. Fry over medium heat for about 6 – 7 minutes until golden.

6. Add the chopped mushrooms to the onion and stir everything together. Fry for about 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

7. Then season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the minced garlic and four tablespoons of sour cream. Mix everything, lower the heat to below medium. Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes.

8. The mushrooms in sour cream sauce in the frying pan are ready.

Transfer to a plate and serve as a standalone dish or with any side dish.
