Ingredients
- broccoli - 400 g;
- potatoes - 200 g;
- onion - 1 pc;
- garlic - 2-3 cloves;
- cream - 200 ml;
- butter - 20 g;
- water - 1.5 l;
- salt, pepper.
Preparation
1. Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Peel the potatoes, onion, and garlic. I use frozen broccoli, so I just need to thaw it. If using fresh, wash and divide into florets.

2. Cut the potatoes into small pieces so they cook faster.

3. Also cut the broccoli florets into several pieces if they are large.

4. Place the potatoes in a saucepan, cover with water, and bring to a boil.

5. After 5 minutes of boiling, add the broccoli to the saucepan. Cook on low heat for 10 minutes.

6. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a skillet, add finely chopped onion and garlic. Sauté until the onion and garlic become soft and start to release a pleasant aroma.

7. Transfer the onion and garlic to the soup and cook until all the vegetables are done, about 5-7 minutes. At this stage, add salt and pepper. You can also add your favorite spices, such as oregano or khmeli-suneli.

8. When all the vegetables are ready, purée the soup with an immersion blender.

9. Pour in the cream, stir, and bring to a boil. Boil for literally half a minute and remove from heat.

10. Broccoli cream soup with cream is ready. It can be served with croutons and bacon. Enjoy your meal!
