
Finnish salmon soup with cream
The most delicious Finnish salmon soup with cream is easy and simple to prepare. The soup turns out quite rich and very tasty. Unlike the transparent soup we are used to, Finnish soup differs in that cream is added, such a soup is also called milk soup. The cream gives the soup a pleasant, delicate taste.

Ingredients
- salmon - 300 g;
- potato - 2 pcs. (250 g);
- carrot - ½ pc. (50 g);
- onion - ½ pc. (80 g);
- 10% cream - 100 ml;
- bay leaf - 1 pc;
- allspice - 2-3 berries;
- vegetable oil - 1 tbsp;
- black pepper - 6 berries;
- dill - a few sprigs;
- water - 0.8 l;
- lemon (for serving) - 1 pc.
Preparation
1. Prepare the ingredients according to the list for the salmon soup with cream.

2. Peel the potatoes, wash them, and cut them into small cubes.

3. Now pour water into the pot, add the bay leaf and peppercorns. Add the diced potatoes. Put it on the heat and cook the potatoes with spices on low heat for 20 minutes.

4. Peel the onion and chop it into small pieces.

5. Peel the carrot, wash it, and grate it on a coarse grater.

6. Heat the oil in a frying pan and sauté the vegetables until soft, 3-4 minutes.

7. After the time has passed and the potatoes are ready, add the sautéed onions and carrots to the pot with the potatoes. Cook for 5 minutes.

8. Rinse the salmon pieces in cool water. Remove the skin from the fish pieces, and take out the bones if there are any. Place the salmon in the vegetable broth, and cook at a gentle boil for 5 minutes.

9. Then, in a thin stream, pour in the cream. Since salmon is a quite fatty fish, we take 10% fat cream.

10. Salt to taste. Stir, bring to a boil, and then remove the pot from the heat.

11. The Finnish salmon soup with cream is ready. Let it steep for 5 minutes.

12. Serve the soup hot immediately. Add chopped dill and a slice of lemon to each bowl.
