  2. For orange jam with lemon, you will need the pulp of the fruits. Peel the skin, separate the segments without the white part and membranes. Check very carefully for any seeds; they must be removed. At this point, it's necessary to weigh the citrus fruits, as this will be useful for calculating the sugar. We have six hundred grams of orange and lemon pulp. Remember this.

  5. Bring the mass to a boil, then switch the timer to below medium temperature. Be sure to stir the citrus mass to prevent it from burning. The thicker it becomes, the more often it needs to be stirred. When foam forms, remove it with a slotted spoon.

  6. The jam should be cooked for exactly one hour. During this time, the mass turns a beautiful amber color. Prepare the containers. It is better to use jars with screw caps that should be washed and sterilized beforehand. Transfer the boiling mass into the jars and seal with the lids. Such preserves can be stored for up to six months, both in a cool place and at room temperature.

  7. After an hour of boiling, the amber jam has almost turned into orange honey. After cooling, it becomes very thick even without thickeners. Orange jam can be added to muffins and croissants, used to make pies, or added to cottage cheese and ice cream.
