Marinated eggs in soy sauce
If you are tired of the usual boiled eggs or do not know what to do with dyed eggs after Easter, try making marinated eggs in soy sauce. This is an Asian snack that will delight you with its taste and color. You need to hard-boil the eggs, peel them, and place them in a marinade made of soy sauce, garlic, hot pepper, and other spices. After a day, the egg whites will turn golden beige and absorb the taste and aroma of the marinade.

Ingredients
- eggs C 1 – 5 pcs;
- hot red pepper – 1 small pod;
- garlic – 2-3 cloves;
- soy sauce – 150 ml;
- purified water – 150 ml;
- white sugar – 1 tbsp;
- fresh parsley – a few sprigs;
- white onion – 1/4 head;
- sesame seeds – 1 tsp.
Preparation
1. Prepare the ingredients for marinated eggs in soy sauce. Boiled fresh eggs peel poorly from the shell, so it is better for them to sit in the refrigerator for at least a week. However, this does not affect the taste; just the fresh specimens will have a not completely smooth surface of the egg white. Optionally, you can add a few sprigs of cilantro, dill, or green onions to the parsley.

2. Place the eggs in a saucepan and fill it with water to the top. To prevent them from cracking while boiling, do not put them on the stove immediately; let them sit in the water for 5 minutes so that the temperatures of the surrounding environment and the eggs, which were previously in the refrigerator, equalize. For safety, add a teaspoon of salt to the water and boil for 10 minutes after it starts to boil.

3. Next, transfer the eggs to cold water and change it a couple of times as it warms up.

4. Peel the shell.

5. Finely chop the onion, parsley, and hot pepper (including seeds).

6. Also, crush the garlic through a press or finely chop it.

7. In a narrow container (a one-liter jar works very well for this), place all the chopped ingredients.

8. Add the sugar there as well.

9. Boil the water with soy sauce and pour it into the jar.

10. Place the eggs into this marinade (it is preferable for them to be fully submerged in the liquid). Close the jar with a plastic lid and put it in the refrigerator.

11. Exactly after a day, take the eggs out of the marinade. They have acquired an unusual color and absorbed the taste and smell of all the components of the soy sauce mixture.

When serving, cut the marinated eggs in soy sauce in half, pour the marinade over them, and sprinkle with parsley leaves and sesame seeds. This snack can be used not only as a standalone dish but also added to salads where marinated eggs are used. The unusual taste will add variety to your everyday menu, filling it with new sensations.
