How to dye eggs with turmeric
A bright, sunny yellow color for the holiday of Bright Easter can be achieved without using synthetic substances. To do this, you need to follow the tips on "How to dye eggs with turmeric," which are outlined below.

This method is very simple, requiring little time and money. The amount of powdered turmeric can vary – the more you add per liter of water, the darker the shade of yellow will be. This dye is not harmful to health, even if it passes through a cracked shell and slightly colors the surface of the egg white, since turmeric is a natural product with its own beneficial properties.
Preparation time: 20 minutes.
Ingredients
- eggs - 4 pcs;
- turmeric - 10 g;
- vinegar 9% - 20 ml;
- water - 1 l.
Preparation
1. Prepare the ingredients. It is better to use white eggs so that the color turns out bright yellow. The amount of water depends on the size of the pot in which the eggs will be boiled (the narrower the container, the less liquid will be needed, and therefore the shade will be more saturated). Since turmeric stains contacting surfaces very firmly, use either stainless steel cookware (which will wash off completely) or an old pot specifically designated for this purpose.

2. Wash the eggs with baking soda to remove the prints and dirt – the surface should be absolutely clean.

3. In a separate bowl, mix the turmeric with a small amount of water until it becomes a thick paste. Break down all lumps.

4. Place the eggs in the pot. Pour the turmeric paste into it and add water until it completely covers the contents. Put the pot on the stove.

5. After the preparations have boiled for 10 minutes, add vinegar to the solution. Turn off the stove, cover the pot with a lid, and let it sit for another 10 minutes. During this time, the shell will take on a strong color and become bright yellow.

6. Remove the eggs with a spoon and transfer them to a paper towel. After naturally cooling, the color of the shell will become more pronounced.

7. To give the eggs a shine, you can rub them with a piece of cloth soaked in vegetable oil.

And here, amid the Easter decor, the sunny coloring of the eggs stands out especially. This way, you can learn not only how to dye eggs with turmeric in yellow but also get acquainted with other natural dyes that will not only change the color of the shell but also will not harm health, especially that of children.
