- sugar – 500 g.

1. Prepare the ingredients to make blueberry jam for winter. Select only ripe and undamaged berries. If possible, remove the stems from the berries. Rinse the blueberries and dry them.

2. Layer the blueberries in a convenient pot, sprinkling each layer with sugar. Leave it like this for a minimum of 2 hours.

3. During this time, the blueberries will release juice.

4. Gently stir the berries with a wooden spatula and place the pot over low heat.

5. Stirring occasionally, bring the mixture to a boil. After boiling, cook for exactly 5 minutes.

6. Pour the jam into pre- sterilized half-liter jars.

7. Seal with previously sterilized lids and turn upside down. Leave them until completely cool.
