Cottage cheese pancakes with raisins in the oven are one of the favorite breakfast options for many people. First of all, cottage cheese is a healthy product, rich in protein and calcium, necessary for the human body. Secondly, it is a nourishing product that keeps the body full for a long time. Thirdly, cottage cheese transformed into such a delicious dessert becomes almost imperceptible for those who do not like it in its natural form.

Ingredients

  • cottage cheese – 300 g;
  • egg – 1 piece;
  • sugar – 1 tbsp;
  • salt – 1 g;
  • vanillin – 1 g;
  • raisins – 30 g;
  • walnuts – 2 pieces;
  • oil – 1 tbsp;
  • flour – 2 tbsp.

Preparation

1. Prepare the ingredients for making cottage cheese pancakes with raisins. Optional flavor additives can be replaced or not used at all.

2. Soak the raisins in boiling water. Chop the nuts finely. Not everyone likes when hard bits of nuts are found in a delicate dessert, so it’s better to chop them as finely as possible.

3. Mash the cottage cheese with sugar.

4. Add the raisins and nuts. Feel free to use other dried fruits, fruits, whatever you like and have on hand.

5. Beat in the egg, add vanillin for a light aroma and to tone down the smell of the egg. Mash together.

6. Take a bit of the cottage cheese mixture, place it in a dish with flour, and form the pancakes. To avoid getting your hands sticky, you can do this with a spoon.

7. To make the treat even healthier, I recommend not frying the pancakes in a skillet, but baking them in the oven. However, to get a nice golden color, the blanks should be briefly fried in a skillet. I decided to do this without oil (for greater health benefits), but dark spots appear on the surface of the pancakes, so I recommend using at least a drop of oil.

8. Then send the pancakes to the oven for 20 minutes, baking at 180 degrees. You can also get creative with the presentation; kids will love the treat decorated with melted chocolate, jam, or condensed milk.
