To prepare Canadian pork ribs you need to prepare:

  • apple puree - 25 g;
  • tomato ketchup - 50 g;
  • ground chili pepper - optional;
  • garlic - 2 cloves;
  • cinnamon - a pinch;
  • vegetable oil - 1 tbsp;
  • ground paprika - 1/2 tbsp;
  • pork ribs - 500 g;
  • smoked paprika - 1 tsp;
  • soy sauce - 1.5 tbsp;
  • sugar - 1/2 tsp;
  • lemon juice - 1 tbsp;
  • salt - to taste.

Preparation

  1. First, you need to combine all the marinade components. The apple puree should be mixed with the soy sauce, ketchup, citrus juice, and vegetable oil. Add spices, seasonings, chopped chili, and garlic. Store-bought or homemade apple puree can be used. To make homemade apple puree, simply bake an apple and mash the fruit’s pulp with a fork. Coat the pork ribs with the prepared marinade and let the meat sit in the sauce for three hours.

  2. Place the marinated ribs on a bed of chopped onions and mushrooms. Send the meat to the oven for one hour, covering the ribs with foil. After the time, completely remove the foil and bake the pork ribs for another quarter of an hour.

  3. Serve Canadian pork ribs, complemented with sauce. These ribs can be supplemented with mashed potatoes, baked fennel or vegetables. Enjoy your meal!
