4. Cut off the tips of each pod. Cut long sticks into 2-3 parts, while very young and short ones can be kept whole.

5. Place the prepared stocks in a bowl.

6. Boil water. Blanch the beans for 2 min., no more.

7. Drain the pods in a sieve, allowing all the moisture to escape.

8. Now the green beans can be frozen, vacuum-sealed, or placed in a regular bag. The mass of each package should be calculated for the number of servings that will be prepared at once. In winter, this product is quite expensive, but by using such a preparation, you can immediately proceed to cook your favorite recipe without thawing the product first.

9. It is advisable to cook a small portion for a delicious lunch right away. Necessary ingredients for 4 baked servings:

  • pre-boiled green beans - 300 g;
  • butter - 60 g;
  • good cheese - 80 g.

10. Melt the butter, but be careful not to let it burn.

11. Add the green pods. They are incredibly delicious when infused with buttery aroma.

12. Slightly brown them, add salt.

13. Transfer to a dish and it can be served immediately. But there is another option, if using a heatproof dish.

14. Grate the cheese finely, distributing it evenly over the entire surface of the beans.

15. At 180 degrees in the oven, hold the dish for just 3 min. for the cheese to melt and brown slightly.
