Ingredients
- pork - 300 g;
- onion - 1 pc;
- cabbage - 0.5 head;
- tomato paste - 2 tbsp;
- salt - 0.5 tsp;
- spices - to taste;
- sunflower oil.
Cooking instructions
1. Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

2. Finely chop the onion.

3. Cut the pork into small pieces. Try to choose meat that is not too fatty; if there is excess fat, it is better to remove it. Pork can be replaced with chicken fillet, it will also taste good.

4. Shred the cabbage using a special grater or chop it as finely as possible with a knife.

5. In a skillet, heat the sunflower oil and add the onion, lightly fry it and then add the meat. Fry the meat over medium heat for 7-10 minutes depending on the size of the pieces. We need the meat to be almost cooked at the moment we add the cabbage because it will stew and finish cooking with the cabbage.

6. Add the shredded cabbage, mix it, and cook first covered for 10 minutes, then for another 10 minutes uncovered. Do not add water while the cabbage is stewing under the lid, as it will release quite a bit of juice.

7. When the cabbage becomes soft, add salt, pepper, and favorite spices. Also, add 2 tablespoons of tomato paste, stir. Now pour in 100-150 ml of water depending on how much liquid was in the skillet before. Stew the cabbage for another 5-7 minutes. At the end of cooking, add finely chopped herbs, mix, and remove the cabbage with pork from the heat. Braised cabbage with pork in a skillet is ready. Bon appetit!
