
Korean-style quick pickled tomatoes
Korean-style quick pickled tomatoes are served with any side dish, fish, or meat. This salad is especially tasty with shish kebab – the spicy taste of Korean-style tomatoes complements well the kebab cooked in the oven on skewers. It can also be considered as a standalone snack. Ingredients
- tomatoes – 4 pieces (medium);
- chili pepper – 1 piece (small);
- dill – 7 g;
- garlic – 2 cloves;
- vegetable oil – 2 tbsp;
- 9% vinegar – 1/2 tbsp;
- sugar – 1/2 tbsp;
- salt and pepper – to taste.
Preparation
1. Prepare the necessary ingredients. Peel the garlic.

2. Cut the tomatoes in half, remove the stems. Slice the tomatoes into wedges and transfer them to a deep bowl.

3. Chop the garlic finely and add it to the tomatoes.

4. Cut the chili pepper in half and remove the seeds. Just like the garlic, chop the chili finely and add it to the other vegetables.

5. Remove the stems from the dill, and chop the greens finely, then add it to the tomatoes.

6. Add half a tablespoon of sugar to our vegetable snack.

7. Pour 1/2 tablespoon of 9% vinegar over the chopped vegetables.

8. Then add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil to the salad.

9. Salt and pepper to taste.

10. Mix everything. The Korean-style quick pickled tomatoes are ready. Let them sit for a few minutes and serve.
