Ingredients
- butter - 100 g;
- herring - 0.5 pcs. (100 g);
- hard-boiled egg - 1 pc;
- greens (parsley) - 1 bunch.
Preparation
1. Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Boil the egg hard. Clean the herring from guts, skin, and bones. We will need one fillet. Take the butter out of the fridge in advance so that it becomes soft.

2. Grate the egg on a fine grater.

3. Cut the herring fillet as finely as possible.

4. Mix the grated egg, herring, and butter.

5. Mix everything well until homogeneous. You can add a little black ground pepper or a spoon of mustard.

6. Place the resulting mixture on plastic wrap and shape it into an elongated form. Wrap the mixture in the wrap and form a sausage. Send the herring butter sausage to the refrigerator for about 10 minutes to let it firm up a bit.

7. Then take the butter out of the refrigerator, unwrap the plastic wrap, and coat the sausage on all sides with finely chopped greens. In 10 minutes, the butter won't have completely solidified, so the greens stick well. Now wrap the butter in the wrap again and put it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, so the herring butter solidifies completely.

8. The herring butter is ready. It is easy to cut with a knife and spread on bread. It turned out tasty and aromatic. Enjoy your meal!
