
Bacon in the oven in foil
The cooked bacon in the oven in foil with carrots and garlic is appetizing and incredibly tender. It can be easily prepared at home, previously marinated, and then generously stuffed with carrots and garlic. This snack literally melts in your mouth. Any bacon will work for cooking, the main thing is that it has a slice of meat (it tastes much better this way). Regardless of whether you are baking bacon, belly, or loin, the snack will turn out equally delicious.
Cooking time: 7 hours.

Ingredients
- bacon (belly, bacon) – 1 kg;
- garlic – 1-2 cloves;
- carrot – 50 g.
For marinade:
- vegetable oil – 3 tbsp;
- garlic – 3 cloves;
- mustard – 1 tsp;
- paprika – 1 tsp;
- 9% vinegar – 1 tbsp;
- khmeli-suneli – 1 tsp;
- black ground pepper – 0.5 tsp.
Preparation
1. Before starting to prepare baked bacon in the oven in foil, prepare the marinade for it. For this, pour 9% vinegar and vegetable oil into a small container, add mustard, paprika, khmeli-suneli, and black ground pepper. Mix the liquid with the spices thoroughly.

2. Squeeze the peeled garlic cloves into the resulting marinade, and mix well again.

3. Rinse the piece of bacon (belly, bacon) under cool water, scrape the skin if necessary, and then pat it dry with a paper or waffle towel so that there is no excess moisture on the bacon. Cut the carrot and garlic (you can cut the vegetables into circles or slices, whatever is convenient for you), then stuff the bacon with them on all sides.

4. Brush the bacon piece stuffed with carrots and garlic on all sides with the marinade (it's best to do this with a brush).

5. Then wrap it in several layers of foil so that during further baking, the juice that will be released does not leak onto the baking sheet. After the bacon is well packaged, place it in the refrigerator or a cool place for at least 3 – 4 hours (ideally, of course, for a day), so that it marinates well.

6. After the bacon (belly, bacon) has marinated well, place it on a baking sheet and put it in a preheated oven at 160 degrees. Bake the future meat snack in foil for 1.5 – 2 hours. Then carefully cut the foil and send the bacon back to the oven for approximately another hour. During this time, the bacon should brown.
