
Minced chicken cutlets with cheese
A wonderful alternative to cutlets with oatmeal - minced chicken cutlets with cheese. Finely diced fillet becomes juicier, and cheese adds a unique flavor that is solely its own. Furthermore, the crust becomes crispy due to the melted cheese.

Ingredients
- chicken breast fillet - 500 g;
- mozzarella (or any hard cheese) - 200 g;
- garlic - 1 large clove;
- sour cream - 70 g;
- egg - 1 pc;
- dill + green onion - medium bunch;
- starch - 25 g;
- Provençal herbs, pepper mix - to taste;
- salt, pepper - to taste;
- baking powder - 1/3 tsp;
- vegetable oil for frying - 40 ml.
Preparation
1. Prepare the ingredients for making minced chicken cutlets with cheese. Mozzarella can be replaced with any hard cheese. The baking powder will make the cutlets fluffier and prevent the meat from becoming compacted. To easily cut the chicken fillet into small pieces, it should be slightly frozen.

2. Grate the cheese coarsely using a vegetable grater.

3. Cut the fillet first into thin slices, and then into small cubes.

4. Place the pieces into a bowl.

5. Season them with garlic by pressing the clove through a garlic press.

6. Add the egg.

7. Adjust the taste with salt and spices.

8. For better binding of all ingredients, add starch to the mixture.

9. And for juiciness - sour cream.

10. Mix everything well and let it sit for 10 minutes for all components to interact. After the specified time, the mixture will become significantly thicker.

11. Finely chop the greens.

12. Add them to the meat mixture.

13. Transfer the grated cheese into the mixture as well.

14. Mix everything together.

15. Heat oil in a pan. Use a spoon to place small patties, adjusting their shape with the same spoon. Set the heat to medium. After about 3-4 minutes, the edges of the cutlets will brown.

16. Use a silicone spatula to lift the patty and flip it over, frying the other side for another 3-4 minutes.

17. Place the cooked cutlets onto a large dish.

Fresh and aromatic minced chicken cutlets with cheese can be served with any side dish, as long as the household members don't grab them first. Additionally, this recipe can be easily adapted for proper nutrition by baking them in the oven instead of frying.
