Ingredients
For the dough, you will need:
- flour - 140 g;
- sour cream at room temperature - 220 g;
- eggs at room temperature - 2 pcs;
- baking powder - 12 g;
- salt - ½ tsp.
For the filling, you will need:
- chilled boiled chicken breast - 230 g;
- cheese - 120 g;
- tomatoes - 160 g;
- green onions - 10 g;
- parsley - 10 g;
- salt, pepper, meat seasoning - to taste.
For decorating the dish before baking, you will need:
- egg yolk - 1 pc;
- sour cream - 15 g;
- sesame seeds and herbs - optional.
Preparation
1. First, prepare the filling for the chicken casserole pie. Cut the meat, cheese, and tomatoes into small cubes. If the tomatoes are very juicy, drain the excess liquid.
2. Chop the onions and parsley.
3. Combine the filling ingredients and add spices.
4. Preheat the oven to 200˚C. Start making the dough. Combine the flour with salt and baking powder.
5. In another bowl, pour in the sour cream and eggs. Mix well.
6. Combine the dry and wet mixtures.
7. Line a heat-resistant dish with parchment paper. Carefully pour half of the dough. Evenly distribute it using a silicone spatula.
8. Spread the filling.
9. Pour the second part of the dough and distribute it carefully.
10. Combine the yolk with the sour cream. Use the resulting mixture to cover the top of the future pie. It is easiest to do this with a silicone brush. Decorate the semi-finished product with sesame seeds and place it in the oven for baking. The cooking time is 40 minutes.
11. The finished chicken pie is removed from the mold together with the parchment. We let the aromatic pie cool slightly. Before serving, we cut it into portioned pieces.
