17. Any baking dish will do. Round, with a diameter of twenty-four or twenty-six centimeters. Or, as in this example, oval, which will also look nice. We transfer the rolled-out dough to the form. Carefully lay the dough on the bottom and sides, trying not to stretch it, but the dough should cover the edges well.

18. Carefully transfer the filling into the form. Evenly distribute the mass so that it fills all the space. Set the form with the filling aside for now.

20. Cover the filling with the prepared dough in contact to avoid gaps. There should be enough dough for the edges as well. Just press the dough against the edges with your fingers, this way we bond the two layers of dough together.

22. By this time, the oven should already be preheated to 170°C. Top and bottom mode. Bake the pie for thirty-five to forty-five minutes. Five minutes before it’s done, you can brush the top of the pie with beaten egg. You can skip this, the pie will still turn out golden and homey delicious.

24. The pie also looks wonderful when cut. In the homogeneous mass, the presence of onion is not visible, as it is transparent, and the processed cheese is also not visible. We achieved this by mixing the still hot onion with the cheese.
