For the cake:
- flour - 165 g;
- eggs - 2 pcs;
- grated carrots - 175 g;
- walnuts - 60 g;
- vegetable oil - 100 g;
- soda - ½ tsp;
- baking powder - 1 tsp;
- sugar - 200 g;
- salt - 1/3 tsp;
- cinnamon - 1 tsp;
- nutmeg - a pinch.
For cream:
- butter (soft) - 100 g;
- cream cheese (Philadelphia type) - 350 g;
- powdered sugar - 50 g.
Cooking
1. We prepare products for cakes.
2. Still need walnuts. They must be cleaned of shells and membranes, dried in a pan. Heat up a dry frying pan and add the nuts. Dry for a few minutes to a pleasant aroma. Immediately remove the pan from the heat, transfer the nuts to another bowl to stop the frying process and the nuts do not burn. Nuts should be covered with a napkin and let them rest.
3. Grind the cooled nuts with a regular knife.
4. You will need three medium carrots. Carrots should be chosen juicy and fresh (sluggish carrots do not suit us). We clean the carrots.
5. Rub the carrots on the smallest grater. You can also use a combine or other chopper.
6. Pour vegetable oil into a deep bowl and add all the sugar. Mix with a mixer.
