Lavash roll with minced meat in the oven
Lavash roll with minced meat in the oven can be served as a main dish or as a suitable snack for a celebration. The roll is hearty, soft, and juicy. The taste is simply delightful! This roll reminds me of something belyashi or fried dumplings. Thanks to the browned crispy crust that forms on top, the cut pieces of the roll hold their shape well.

Ingredients
Show ingredients
- thin lavash - 300 g (2 pcs.);
- minced meat - 550 g;
- onion - 140 g (1 pc.);
- eggs - 2 pcs;
- salt;
- ground black pepper.
Preparation
- Beat the second egg in a separate bowl until homogeneous with a fork. Quickly brush a sheet of lavash with the beaten egg using a culinary brush. My lavash is 36*50 cm. Cover with another sheet of lavash on top to make the roll sturdier and not soften from the juicy filling. Lightly brush the second sheet with the beaten egg as well. We plan to have some beaten egg mixture left to brush the top of the roll.
- After 15 minutes, take the rolls out of the oven, now brush the top with egg and return to the oven again for 25 minutes (this time you can cover the rolls with foil, so they don't dry out in the oven). After the time is up, take the rolls out again, brush with egg and bake without foil for another 10 minutes until they are beautifully browned.
