Lavash Roll with Minced Meat in the Oven
Lavash roll with minced meat in the oven can be served as a main dish or as a suitable appetizer for a celebration. The roll is hearty, soft, and juicy. The taste is simply delightful! To me, this roll somewhat resembles belyashi or fried dumplings. Thanks to the crispy golden crust formed on top, the sliced pieces of the roll hold their shape well.

Ingredients
- thin lavash – 300 g (2 sheets);
- minced meat - 550 g;
- onion - 140 g (1 pc.);
- eggs - 2 pcs;
- salt;
- ground black pepper.
Cooking
1. Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making the lavash roll with minced meat in the oven. You can use any kind of minced meat: pork, chicken, etc. I am using pork mince. Preheat the oven to 180-190°C.
2. Peel and wash the onion, then grate it finely.
3. Add the grated onion to the bowl with minced meat. Add salt, pepper to taste, and 1 raw egg. Mix well. The filling for the lavash is ready.
4. Beat the second egg in a separate bowl until smooth using a fork. Quickly brush one lavash sheet with the beaten egg using a culinary brush. My lavash is 36x50 cm in size. Cover the first sheet with another lavash sheet to make the roll more sturdy and prevent it from becoming soggy due to the juicy filling. Lightly brush the second sheet with the egg as well. Make sure to reserve some of the egg mixture for brushing the top of the roll.
5. Spread the filling evenly over the lavash.
6. Tightly roll the lavash with the filling from the shorter side into a roll.
7. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut the roll into two equal parts and place them on the baking sheet.
8. Brush the top of the rolls with the egg mixture. Place the rolls in the preheated oven at 200°C for 15 minutes.
9. After 15 minutes, take the rolls out of the oven, brush them again with the egg mixture, and return them to the oven for another 25 minutes (you can cover the rolls with foil this time to prevent them from drying out). After this time, take the rolls out again, brush them with the egg one more time, and bake uncovered for another 10 minutes until nicely golden.
10. The lavash roll with minced meat is ready.
11. Slice the finished lavash roll with minced meat into pieces and serve. Enjoy your meal!
